About the Principal

Denise Morris Kipnis

Denise is the Founder and Principal of ChangeFlow Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm based in the Seattle area. She works with clients to enhance communication and productivity between and among diverse groups through organization development and inclusion practices—building capacity in organizations to anticipate and thrive in change. Denise’s work focuses primarily on aligning strategy, processes, and structures to increase organization performance, effectiveness, and sustainability. She believes in co-creating culture-specific solutions with people in the organization: developing new or existing capabilities by transferring knowledge and skills, leveraging employee leadership and participation, and fostering diversity and inclusion. Her consulting experience ranges across industries, sectors, and countries.

Denise has an extensive background in operations, project management, and internal communications: her management career began in multimedia and Web services, with a progression to consulting with philanthropy and non-profits; technology, utility, and manufacturing companies; and boards. Recent projects include delivering a workshop for human resources professionals in China on best practices for instituting learning and development plans, coaching an executive on avenues to revitalize an ongoing diversity initiative, modifying intranet strategy and galvanizing publishers to take internal communications to the next phase. She also specializes in manager development, strategic planning, group facilitation, team building, training, organization learning, and knowledge management.

Denise earned a Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University, and project management certification from the U.C. Berkeley Extension.
